SustaiN® FPA is the most effective form of SustaiN on the market. It’s manufactured by grinding SustaiN into fine particles, then adding water to create a slurry. This product can then be sprayed on to pasture. So fine are the particles in SustaiN FPA that, at the recommended spread rate, there are more than 1000 FPA particles where there would normally be just the one SustaiN Green granule.
SustaiN FPA contains 46% nitrogen.
SustaiN FPA can play an important role when you’ve got high-value land and you want to get the most out of it. For example, if you have paddocks dedicated to finishing stock, and you want as much grass growth as possible, then consider spraying SustaiN FPA.
The very fine nature of the particles in SustaiN FPA means the nitrogen is immediately available for uptake through the leaves. As it can also be taken up through plant roots, you get improved availability and nitrogen efficiency.
Trial work conducted by both independent research organisations and by Altum has shown that by using SustaiN FPA, nitrogen response efficiencies can be improved dramatically, with response efficiencies averaging more than 30 kg DM/kg N applied.
