PhaSed S is a sulphur and nitrogen fertiliser that has been designed to help offset the soil acidity that arises from the use of elemental sulphur. The elemental sulphur is finely ground, blended with other materials, then formed into a hard granule, which can be easily and safely spread on farm.
PhaSed S contains 10.5% N, 24.3% S and 19.8% Ca.
PhaSed S can be used in many farming situations, but it is particularly useful on hill country properties, where phosphate fertiliser is not being applied every year. In these situations, sulphur deficiency is often an issue. By using PhaSed S, either alone or blended with other products, you will apply a long-term supply of sulphur, which will help remedy any deficiency and support production.
One of the key benefits of PhaSed S is that the lime component of the product helps to offset the soil acidification that normally results from an application of sulphur. That means you may be able to defer your regular lime application.
PhaSed S is suitable for use all year round.
