PhaSed N QS is a combination of elemental sulphur, sulphate-sulphur, nitrogen and lime. These nutrients are all compacted together using the GranMAX technology developed by Altum.
By finely grinding elemental sulphur, we make it easier for soil bacteria to degrade it, as they have a greater surface area to work on. This means an improved sulphur supply for your pasture. Combining this fine elemental sulphur with other ingredients and compressing them into a hard granule means that PhaSed N QS is safe and easy to spread.
PhaSed N QS is ideal for use when you want to get grass growing quickly, especially when soil temperatures are low - between 6 and 10 degrees C. Applying PhaSed N QS in autumn will deliver both nitrogen and readily available sulphate-sulphur that plants can use straight away, plus a dose of elemental sulphur, that will be slowly released through spring, supporting that early-season growth.
PhaSed N QS should be used strategically as part of your overall farm nitrogen and sulphur policy.
