Enviromag (which was previously known as Enviroking) combines the environmentally friendly benefits of RPR with the gradually released magnesium of serpentine. It can be blended with elemental sulphur where needed.
Enviromag is an ideal product to use when you are looking for a maintenance fertiliser that delivers a steady supply of both phosphorus and magnesium. Trials conducted on Central Plateau soils by Massey University have shown that RPR and serpentine break down at similar rates.
As Enviromag is based on RPR, it is best applied on soils with a pH of less than 6.0, and where rainfall exceeds 800 mm per annum. If soil pH is higher than 6.0 (but still less than 6.3) Enviromag can still be used as long as there is sufficient annual rainfall.
Enviromag is suitable for use on BioGro-certified farms.
