Zincmax+ is a fine, free-flowing, peppermint-flavoured product for the treatment of facial eczema in dairy cows. It contains both organic copper (0.5%) and zinc (31%).
When stock are dosed with high levels of zinc, they typically absorb less copper from their diet – as little as 0.6% of their dietary intake. Using organic copper in Zincmax+ helps to overcome this antagonism, and allows stock to maintain healthy copper levels, which is especially important in the run-up to the stressful winter period.
Zincmax+ is supplied in 20 kg bags.
Zincmax+ should be added to drinking water at the rate recommended by your Altum sales consultant. It is suitable for use in trough dispensers and in-line dispensers.
