Micromax PLUS is a blend of water-soluble micro-nutrients that are needed by dairy and beef systems. They are not suitable for sheep. The Micromax PLUS range of products is designed to be used to prevent the development of nutritional deficiencies, not to treat deficiencies.
Importantly, one-third of the copper in Micromax PLUS is in the organic form. This provides superior absorption of copper in situations where there are high pasture or water levels of antogonistic minerals (iron, sulphur and molybdenum).
Micromax PLUS contains a peppermint flavouring, to make it even more palatable to your stock. Micromax PLUS is available in 20 kg bags.
Your Altum sales consultant will work with you to determine which mineral deficiencies are likely to be an issue on your farm. Typically, these vary between regions, which is why we have developed region-specific blends of these products.
Micromax PLUS works best when given to stock prior to and during their most stressful part of the season. That’s when their immune system and metabolism need the greatest support. We recommend that Micromax PLUS is used in the month prior to calving and through until the second round of mating.
Micromax PLUS should be added to water supplies at the rate recommended by your sales consultant. It may be used with an in-line dispenser or a trough dispenser.
