Ranae grew up in Dunedin and was excited to move up to the ‘big smoke’ of Palmerston North, where she studied a Bachelor of Applied Science in agri-science and agri-business at Massey University.
Ranae loves the outdoors and a chance to escape the office was a big factor in her wanting to take up a sales consultant role with Altum. Ranae spends time on her partner’s dairy farm in Te Kuiti and is involved with the Young Farmers Association in her spare time.
Some of her other interests include road cycling and tending to what should be one of the best kept vege gardens in the country.
Claire grew up on a dairy farm in Taranaki, before going to Palmerston North for three years to study for a Bachelor of Applied Science at Massey University, majoring in agriculture.
‘I joined Altum in the summer of 2007, initially as a customer services officer based in Taranaki, then in June of the same year I accepted the position as a field consultant and I have never looked back!’
Claire enjoys playing sports, especially netball and tennis, and making the most of the beautiful outdoors of Taranaki. She loves gardening and is a keen cook/baker.
Born and bred in Taranaki, Hamish earned his keep on a sheep and beef farm east of Stratford.
'I was lucky enough to escape for a few years by going to Massey University in Palmerston North, where I completed a three-year Bachelor of Applied Science degree majoring in agriculture.'
He followed this up with a year in northwest Queensland working on a cattle station. 'It’s good to be back doing such an interesting job. I enjoy all sports and it’s great to be able to lend a hand again on the family farm.'
